Citigroup Announces Disappointing Results For 4th Quarter (NYSE: C)

Citigroup reported profit of $1.2 billion, or $0.38 a share, for the fourth quarter.  This figure was significantly below analysts’ estimates.  According to a survey by Thomson Reuters, analysts estimated earnings at $0.96 a share prior to the bank’s quarterly earnings report.  Excluding one-time charges, earnings amounted to $0.69 a share.  The bank posted profit of $956 million, or $0.31...

Bank Of America Announces Disappointing Profit Drop (NYSE: BAC)

Intel Sees Profit Decrease 27% In Fourth Quarter (NASDAQ: INTC)

Intel has seen a significant profit reduction in the fourth quarter.  Intel’s fourth-quarter earnings report reported net income of $2.5 billion, or $0.48 a share.  This was down 27% from $3.4 billion, or $0.64 a share, a year earlier.
